Human Lab: Winter Gadgets
Has the winter storm onslaught left you digging for ways to survive the season? Our “Human Lab: Winter Gadgets” has snowed-in New Englanders testing products that could end your winter woes!
Shoveling. "We have about a foot or a foot and a 1/2 of snow," says Annie, whose back and neck are suffering from all the shoveling. "We would just love to have something that makes the whole process faster, easier, less strenuous." She is testing the Sno Wovel, a shovel with a wheel, that claims to clear away snow three times faster than traditional shoveling.
Snowball fights. "When there's snow outside, my children are making snowballs, making forts - just anything they can build!" Lorene says. "I would love to have a new product for my kids to try outside." They are testing the Wham-O Snowball Blaster, that claims to launch snowballs as far as 80 feet.
Ice Removal. "The biggest problem when it snows is that I am the one that has to shovel it!" says Sam, who spends his winters clearing his family's driveways and walkways. "I'm done shoveling and the next problem is the ice!" To lend Sam a hand, we sent him SnoMelt Instant Ice Melter that claims to work more than five times faster than rock salt to melt ice.
