Jennifer Garner says she's found a great way to bond with Violet, her 2-year-old daughter. The busy actress set aside some time for her girl as they started a vegetable garden. "She was a little young for it but I didn't care," Jennifer says. "We just did them in these big, huge terra cotta pots and did one stake in the middle with something that would climb like tomatoes on one side and beans on the other." And, along with the harvest, her daughter earned a great lesson in discipline. "I think it's a good little chore to have every day."

But she had to leave her pots behind when she and hubby Ben Affleck made the move to New York City for her current role in Cyrano De Bergerac. "This is where I lived when I was first starting out, the real deal struggling actress living on someone's kitchen floor for nine months and working at restaurants. So it's really nice to come back and be able to do what I was trying to do then," Jennifer says. To top it off, she gets to work alongside Kevin Kline. "He's a dreamboat and he's playing Cyrano, you know the guy with the nose, and it's a role that he was born to play because it's so funny and he gets to do all of this crazy comedy."

The beautiful brunette is also taking center stage in a health campaign this season. "I am the face of the flu this year," Jennifer says. "I'm basically here to tell you guys you need to get your flu shot, that the flu is a deadly disease that is not taken seriously enough and two out of three Americans should be getting a flu shot every year and we are falling way way short." She takes her job with the Faces of Influenza campaign so seriously she even chides Rach who has a bit of a horse throat during their interview. "You need to listen to this because it seems like you might be working too hard! I think you need to take care of yourself Rachael Ray."

Jennifer's maternal instincts also come into play in her hit movie Juno, in which she plays a woman who is about to adopt a baby from a pregnant teenager. "It's the most unlikely family feel good movie," Jennifer says. And, it's the launchpad for the career of her young co-star who is one hot young actress. "You will fall so in love with Ellen Page ... I get a little star struck by this 20-year-old."

She also could be a little star struck about her upcoming projects which will have her working separately with Ricky Gervais and Matthew McConaughey. But no matter how many hotties she collaborates with, this star won't forget where she got her big break, as the clever international spy Sydney Bristow on Alias. "I talk to the cast so much ... Victor Garber really is my parent. I talked to him yesterday, I will talk to him today," Jennifer gushes. "All five years it just was as good as that experience could have been. There was never a harsh word spoken on that set. We all had so much respect for each other and treated each other just like gold."
