In 2004, fans were shocked when Jennifer Hudson was voted off American Idol after reaching the top six. But quicker than you could sing, "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going," she is back and bringing audiences to their feet with her Golden Globe-winning performance in Dreamgirls. Rachael wants to know, "When you were a little girl, did you ever dream this big?"

"All I wanted to do was sing -- anywhere!" Jennifer says. "It didn't matter, as long as I was singing I was happy. And it's still the same for me now. God is so good and I get to be here with all these beautiful people and sing for the world now."

The journey from a modest upbringing to an award-winning star of the big screen has been incredible for Jennifer, and there's one thing Rachael really wants to know: "How do people treat you now?" she asks Jennifer. "Are you hearing from every ex-boyfriend, every kid who was mean on the playground to you?" Jennifer says, "I find it funny that people miss you on a day when you're on Oprah. Or when I'm sitting here talking to you. Someone's gonna call me and say, 'I miss you so much.' And it's like, dude, we haven't talked in years!"

In addition to her Golden Globe win and possible Oscar nod, Jennifer is also nominated for a Screen Actors Guild award. With the award season in full swing, Rachael asks, "Do you like dressing up?"

"That's my issue because I don't like shoes," Jennifer admits. "I'm not a shoe girl. I don't mind dressing up, but please don't put me in heels! Because I have 5 toes and every shoe is not a 5-toe shoe. When I go to the store, instead of saying I'm a size 10, I just say I have 5-toes. That's a 3-toe show, now give me a 5-toe shoe."

Rachael and Jennifer cook up some Pork Chops with Andouille French Bread Stuffing with the help of Walter, her childhood friend and aspiring chef, because in addition to not being skillful in the kitchen, she normally isn't even allowed in there!

"My mom cooks," Jennifer admits. "Everybody but me cooks. They just say, 'Jennifer, you just sing, baby. Stay out of the kitchen!'"
