Jennifer Love Hewitt's relationships have often made tabloid headlines, including her most recent breakup with Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy. "I have no regrets," she proudly declares. "Anybody that I've dated, they've all taught me something." The actress shares the lessons she's learned in her new book, The Day I Shot Cupid: Hello, My Name is Jennifer Love Hewitt, and I am a Love-aholic. Jennifer explains how she came up with the title. "When I Googled Cupid I found out that he was actually this evil little guy who had been completely heart broken, didn't want people to fall in love, and he actually made poisonous arrows to shoot at people so that they would fall out of love, because misery loves company. And I was like, I have to shoot him - in my mind and theoretically - for all people so that we are safe from the guy who does not want us to fall in love!"
Jennifer points out that the biggest mistake women make could often mean ending up with Mr. Wrong. "In the first ten dates, a man will tell you in the dinner conversation who he really is and who he is going to be seven or eight months down the line in the relationship," she says. "And our mistake is that he will do something so incredibly annoying, or aggressive, or check out a girl in the most repulsive way possible, and you get this little record scratch in your brain. But then you'll go, 'Oh, he didn't mean that - he's not really that guy.' He is SO that guy! Pay attention!"
