After Kathie Lee "Stumps the Rach," she talks about her new role in the musical Annie. "This is the national touring company and I'm only in the New York version," Kathie Lee explains. "I've been rehearsing basically by myself in a room with a mirror with my little boom box and my orthopedic shoes and an industrial-strength bra!" Rachael says she can't even picture Kathie Lee as Miss Hannigan. "Who'd you think I was going to play, the dog Sandy?" Kathie Lee asks. "And I'm a little old to play Annie!"

On stage, Kathie Lee's Miss Hannigan might be making orphans mop the floor "till it shines like the top of the Chrysler building," but in real life Kathie Lee is proud of the work that is being done at Cassidy's Place, a preschool for those suffering from severe disabilities and medical conditions, and with programs like Baked in the 'Hood, which provides training in the food service industry to those who are disadvantaged.
