You have to wait until next summer to see the Sex and the City movie, but in the meantime Rachael gets Kristin Davis to reveal a few hints. "Is Big in it?" Rachael wants to know.
"There have been so many pictures of him that I think I can safely say that Big is definitely in it," replies Kristin who appreciates all the fans who've been watching them film on the streets of New York. "It's been amazing. It has taken us a little longer maybe because of the crowds, but that's OK." With so many people watching, including reporters, the cast has taken some extreme measures to keep the plot under wraps. "The press comes with their notebooks and their tape recorders and they tape record. So sometimes we do fake scenes," Kristin says. "We want the fans to be surprised when they see the movie."
Just as in the HBO TV series, fashion plays a key role in this movie to the delight of its cast. "Sarah had emailed me like, 'wait til you go to your fitting.' You walk in and it's just like, you can't believe it. There's just tables and tables of all the new bags and all the new shoes," Kristin gushes. "We often just pinch ourselves you know we can't believe it came together and that it's happening."
Kristin brings a special guest with her to Rachael's set -- a donkey named Forever from the Amore Mini Donkey Farm in Cazenovia, N.Y. (amoreminidonkeys@aol.com). Kristin is showing off Forever as part of her efforts to raise awareness for the international aid group Oxfam which is working to find lasting solutions to poverty around the world. "It's about helping people be self-sustaining so that they don't need continual aid," Kristin explains. For the holidays Oxfam invites the public to make donations to send school supplies, sheep and other animals to people in countries including Darfur. "You can get a miniature donkey and send it to people in need around the world because actually they do a lot of work. They can help people farm, they can help people collect firewood," she says. Last year she had her family send sheep in her name and her current holiday list includes a donkey. "This is what I ask for from all of my family because I have a great job, obviously I get free clothes, free shoes, all of those wonderful things," Kristin says. "I have it very good."
