Laura Leighton is back on Melrose Place as the fiery redhead Sydney, and she's impressed with the new crop of kids who are occupying this infamous Los Angeles apartment complex a decade after the original series went off the air. "I have been amazed ... These guys really seem to know how to handle themselves. They know how to walk down a red carpet and they seem like they've got it all figured out," she raves. "We were just sort of clueless!"

Laura may be famous for playing a bad girl, but in real life she is the mother of four kids ranging in age from 4 to 17 with her husband and fellow Melrose Place alum Doug Savant. "He is the nicest guy," Laura says. "He helps out around the house; he's a baseball coach for my son." She says Doug is also a "big fan" of her role as Sydney Andrews on Melrose and is thrilled she's returning to the show. Does she watch Doug on his current hit - Desperate Housewives? "We try!" Laura says. "For us it sounds like a really good reason to have a date night ... sometimes it happens!"
