How many times have you bought the latest trendy outfit and then looked at yourself in the mirror when you got home and thought, "Can I really wear this?" Now is not the time to throw money away on good clothes that you'll never wear, so Gretta shows you how anyone can make the hottest spring fashions work.

One-shoulder asymmetrical shirts

"The asymmetrical trend is really about having no sleeve," Gretta explains, "which gives you no support." Normally a problem for larger-chested women, Gretta suggests taking the shirt into an angle, so you can still get the look and vibe of the asymmetrical look, but modified to have two sleeves and enough coverage and support.

Jumpsuits

"This is the single biggest spring trend," Gretta explains. "The jumpsuit is everywhere -- they come in shorts, they come in dresses, they come in rompers -- it is huge." But for those on the shorter side who think jumpsuits may make them look like a baby in a onesie, Gretta has a few suggestions: "If you want to look long and lean, just go one color," she says. "Keep it simple, maybe a statement piece of jewelry up top. And not too much fabric ... you don't want to get lost in it."

Harem pants

If you're unsure if harem pants are going to make you look classy and fun or more like MC Hammer, Gretta gives her bottom line. "If you're born with enough curves -- you've got the hip and butt -- you do not need to add more with the harem pants," she explains. "If you're straight up and down and you want to add some volume, and you're tall and you can handle a lot of fabric, feel free to try it."

Gretta says that if you're a bit curvy you can still have fun with this trend by trying cargo pants. "Now they have a little bit of a pooled fullness down at the bottom," she points out. "Essentially, that is just touching on the trend of a harem pant." Gretta explains that the cargo pants can make you look lean through the hip yet give you fullness at the bottom.

Tops with "bling"

The biggest mistake people make when it comes to adding sparkles to their look is wearing more than one piece. "You can easily start looking like you should be part of the Ice Capades," says Gretta. "Stick to one piece, that is always safe."
