Extra host Mario Lopez has come full circle: he first had girls swooning every week as A.C. Slater on Saved by the Bell, and now he appears with his own little girl on VH1's reality series, Mario Lopez: Saved by the Baby. "I wanted to share with people the journey of this guy being a first time father and experiencing all these firsts," Mario tells Rachael. "And it's not like The Real World where the cameras are constantly there when you wake up and go to bed. It wasn't that bad. It was pretty cool in the sense that it was like making home videos - but with a nice production!"

Now that Mario and girlfriend Courtney have a beautiful nine-month-old daughter Gia, Mario decided to update his best-selling book, Extra Lean. "Being a proud father, I wanted to get my family off on the right foot when it comes to what they eat," he explains about his follow-up book, Extra Lean Family. "I want them to understand that what they eat affects those closest to them. And we want to encourage kids to get in the kitchen, to get them involved so they care about what they're putting into their bodies."
