After 20 years in the modeling world, Morgen Schick knows everything you can imagine about making sure her makeup is flawless, so Rachael is asking her to spill her secrets! Get Morgen's tips for making sure winter doesn't take a toll on your skin this season!

In the winter, I do my makeup at home and by the time I get to my destination it seems like all the makeup is gone. Where did it go and what can I do? Your skin might be a bit dry, Morgen explains, and is actually absorbing that makeup to quench its thirst. "Invest in a moisturizer that's a little denser, a little thicker, and in the winter months you're going to wear this so your skin is really satisfied, so it doesn't absorb your makeup like that," she says. Another trick, is to slightly dry out your foundation or tinted moisturizer so there is less for your skin to absorb. "Put a little bit onto a plate, a bowl or even in the cap. Leave it out for a few days and the water in it is going to evaporate, and you're going to be left with this kind of creamy consistency concealer, and you'll use that. Because the water has already evaporated, your skin is not going to absorb it. So this is a great way to have a tinted moisturizer or a foundation for the summer and use the same product in the winter, so you don't have to buy two!"

In the winter my skin gets extremely dry and red around my lips and my nose, is there anything I can do? Before you blow your nose, Morgen suggests softening the tissue by quickly running it under water in the faucet. "You soften up the fibers ... and the coolness of the water? When you blow or when you sneeze it actually soothes the area around the nose."

She says you can also apply lip balm around your nostrils, elbows, knuckles, heels or any place that gets raw in the colder months.

Any suggestions for a new look for my holiday parties? "My idea is red lipstick! Now a lot of us are scared of red lipstick," she says, noting women often avoid this color because it points to the redness in their skin. "You've got to cover that so your red lip is your feature ... If you cancel out all the redness in your skin, you can wear any red!"
