"I feel like I should sing the national anthem!" Rachael jokes as she welcomes her first Olympic champ to the kitchen! Swimmer Natalie Coughlin picked up six medals in Beijing and drops by the studio to help Rachael with a pot of Bacon Corn Chowder with Crab. As they prepare the ingredients, Rachael asks Natalie about her gold-winning 100-meter backstroke swim in Beijing. "I was crying like a little baby when I was on the medal stand," Natalie recalls. "So many years of training go into 58.9 seconds, so it's stressful, but it's an amazing experience." The speed racer now has a total of 11 Olympic medals -- so where does she keep them? "I was keeping them in my sock drawer," Natalie says. "My dad wasn't happy with that, so for my birthday my dad installed a safe."
After they finish in the kitchen, Natalie heads backstage where she offers up some more details about her Olympic run and swimming in the famed Water Cube. Click here for the Online Exclusive!
Natalie also wants to help you get into shape, and is offering free downloads for her iTrain pool workout along with a waterproof case for you iPod shuffle.
