It's an election-themed Mystery Taster as Rachael poses politically oriented questions to a big Hollywood star and tries to guess his or her identity. "The first time you voted in an election, who was running for president?" asks Rachael. Her guest replies: "I voted for Jimmy Carter, but Reagan won." Rachael keeps inquiring and gets her best clue when she discovers it's a freckle-faced actress she has previously met. "Is it Julianne Moore?" asks Rachael, before the star reveals herself.

Rachael is thrilled to see the Oscar®-nominated actress, and asks Julianne what she's been cooking since she last stopped by and made a kid-friendly dish. "I made fish last night!" Julianne says proudly, noting that her two young children are generally pretty easy to please. "They think I'm a great cook because all you have to do for kids is broil chicken and do broccoli and they say, 'Oh mom it's terrific!'"

Julianne's also busy with her acting career, including her stint as a blonde for the sci-fi drama Blindness. Although she quickly discovered the new hairstyle was not for her. "I did not enjoy it. I'm too closely identified with being a redhead and my daughter who has long red hair hated it too because people would say, 'Oh what beautiful hair you have,' to my daughter and she would say, 'Yes, my mother used to have long red hair. But she cut it and she dyed it, so that's fake!'" Julianne jokes she would then say to people, "It's just temporary I swear!"
