Rachael Ray: Rachael's Daytime Talkshow

Patricia Heaton

When Rachael starts to hand out Bacon-Wrapped Tater Tots, she gets a helping hand from a very special guest -- a very stunned Patricia Heaton! "I almost plotzed when you wrapped bacon around Tater Tots!" she exclaims. But as she reveals, she has a guilty indulgence of her own. "I used to dip double stuff Oreos in peanut butter and I thought I'll never tell anyone I did this!"

As a busy mother of four boys, Rachael wants to know, how does Patricia Heaton stay so slim? "I really only eat one meal a day," Patricia admits, "so it doesn't matter what you eat or when you eat it as long as you just do one. Plus, since I've been in New York, I've been running around a lot, to catch the train to get to work and all that stuff. So it's been easy." Patricia clarifies that there's one stipulation of her plan: "The thing is, the one meal has to end at some point!"

Patricia, who played Debra Barone on Everybody Loves Raymond for nine years, has had to adjust since the show came to an end. "The day after we finished filming, I woke up and it was just like I had been on a planet for nine years where I was the queen and everyone worshipped me and then suddenly I woke up and nobody was worshipping me and I had to get everyone's breakfast!"

While the cast still remains a tight-knit family, they no longer can laugh with Peter Boyle, who passed away the night before Patricia was scheduled to visit him.

"He was very special," she says. "You know, Peter got the best punchlines on that show! And he played the monster in Young Frankenstein. We showed my boys that movie and then they came to the set one day and I said, 'That's the monster!' Peter would chase them around the set and make noises from the movie. It was really wonderful."

Patricia remembers Peter Boyle.

Patricia realizes the importance of taking time for herself, so every year she takes five of her close friends on a trip to help celebrate her birthday. And year after year, her friends give her an unusual gift. The latest present? A membership to the LA Gun Club! That might not have been the perfect gift for someone with an itchy trigger finger, as Patricia admits to having when playing paintball with her kids.

Rachael has one final burning question for Patricia: "What are you cheap about?"

Patricia: "I am cheap about toiletries!"

Patricia and Rachael share their obsession with free shampoo.
