"Thanksgiving is the time of year where we're all cognizant of what we're thankful for," says Rachael, "The thing I'm always most thankful for is family, a roof over my head and plenty of hot food." In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, many people cannot count on having food on their table and a roof over their head, so Rachael's Yum-o! organization is donating $100,000 to City Harvest and Food Bank for New York City. She is also donating $500,000 to the ASPCA to help shelter displaced pets while their owners get back on their feet. Ainsworth, the producer of Rachael's Nutrish pet food, is also donating four tons of food for animals in need.

How you can help: To make a $10 donation to the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts, text REDCROSS to 90999, and visit RedCross.org to find out more ways you can help.
