There's no end to what Rachael will do for her fans ... She agrees to have her face poked with needles to test out an acupuncture facial, an increasingly popular way to reduce lines without surgery. "See what I do for you people?" Rachael asks her audience. "I'm trying this out for you!"

She gets the treatment right on the set as an acupuncturist places half a dozen tiny needles in Rachael's face. "The needles I'm putting in around the forehead are going to help with the circulation and the blood flow, so it brings more oxygen to the area," explains Janet Tsai, a licensed acupuncturist. "What most people will feel after the treatment is a good sense of energy, their digestion is better, their sleep is better." The hope is that their skin will also look better. "The needles create micro trauma to the skin and that helps the cells that produce collagen and elastin ... so it makes it more taught," Janet adds.

And while the needles are, well, needles, they are significantly smaller than those used in Botox injections. "It's less invasive, there's less risk," Janet adds. "It's less cost and people can do an acupuncture facial and go right to work." She recommends two treatments a week for five weeks, but you won't have to wait that long to see results as the skin should look softer and smoother halfway through the regimen. So after having the needles placed in her forehead, chin and cheeks what's Rachael's verdict? "It's not so bad!"
