"My greatest gift over the holidays is that I didn't have to go under the knife!" Rachael says. She was given the option of doing weekly exercises with a vocal therapist to treat the lump on her vocal chord. "She thinks that over time she can shrink the blob without getting my throat cut, which sounded really good to me," Rachael explains. She is also working to improve her posture, and is thrilled with what she's learning from her doctor. "When I'm with her, I sound like I could be on Broadway. It's great!"
