Some of the screen's biggest legends can be referred to by a single name. But as "Raquel" reveals, her iconic name met with some resistance when she first arrived in Hollywood. "I was really young when I first came there," she says, "and I was not prepared for this. When I first got to the studio, they said, 'Well, "Raquel" -- they'll never learn how to pronounce it and it's a little bit exotic, a little bit ethnic. What about "Debbie"?' But I just didn't feel much like a "Debbie," so I said, 'I don't think so. I think I'll be Raquel. And if they can't pronounce it, they'll call me Rocky!"

She's always been Raquel, and she's always been gorgeous -- and still is at 66-years old! In fact, MAC Cosmetics invited her to be their Beauty Icon Face for 2007. "I was very flattered because I was following in the footsteps of Catherine Deneuve, who's a great, great beauty and is one of my contemporaries. And it gave me the opportunity to use all the stuff I knew about makeup and finally put it to good use."
