Rashida Jones
Her parents are Peggy Lipton and Quincy Jones, two entertainment industry hot shots, but Rashida Jones says all of that glamour was lost on her as a child. "I was kind of a geek," she tells Rachael. "My parents are way cooler than me. Seriously ... all I did was play on the computer for years and years before it was cool to have a computer."
Rashida used those smarts to get into Harvard, before pursuing her own career in entertainment including a role on the hit show The Office. "It's like the most relaxed cool atmosphere. Everybody's so sweet," Rashida says. "It was like a dream come true. I've said before I felt like I won some contest to be on my favorite show."
She's following it up with another dream job -- working with the Farrelly brothers on their new sitcom Unhitched. Rashida plays a divorce lawyer who is trying to get back into the dating scene, so Rachael asks this star about her own social life. With a dad working with top name musicians, has she dated dozens of rock stars? "Oh my God no, my dad would kill me!" Rashida says. "He's a musician; he knows what it's like. There's no way he's going to let me date a musician."
Rashida is also keeping busy with her new organic clothing line called Laloo. "It's how my goddaughter used to say 'I love you' when she was one and a half," Rashida says.
