Real-Life "Benjamin Buttons"
The hit movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button has fascinated millions with its story of a man who ages backwards while he is desperate to look his own age. In real life too, some people are frustrated by their appearance as assumptions about their age affect their careers and social lives. "I get mistaken as a student almost every day at work," says Jenn, a 23-year-old high school teacher. "I'm sick and tired of being mistaken for a little girl; it's about time I looked my age." At the other end of the spectrum is Carrie, 44. "People perceive me as 10 years older than my actual age. It's the grey hair," she says. "I was shopping with my sister and a lady behind one of the cosmetic counters asked if I was her mother. It hurt."
Rachael pairs up these real-life "Benjamin Buttons" with beauty expert Kyan Douglas of 10 Years Younger and challenges him to give them a whole new look in under an hour! Watch the video for the dramatic transformation! While hair color and clothes help, Kyan says a woman's greatest accessory always comes from the inside. "If you can find confidence, it's like the magic ingredient to help you look the way that you're supposed to look."
