"I get mistaken as a student almost every day at work," says Jenn, a 23-year-old high school teacher. "I'm sick and tired of being mistaken for a little girl; it's about time I looked my age." At the other end of the spectrum is Carrie, 44. "People perceive me as 10 years older than my actual age. It's the grey hair," she says. "I was shopping with my sister and a lady behind one of the cosmetic counters asked if I was her mother. It hurt."
