Rockin' Mystery Taster
Bret Michaels is the multi-platinum selling lead singer of Poison who also spent three seasons on VH-1's Rock of Love, so what made him decide to do Celebrity Apprentice? "I'm a lifelong juvenile diabetes type 1," he tells Rachael, "so the charity was the first thing because everyone going on there wants to win for their charity. And the fact that I get to be around some great people and learn a lot of stuff - what to do and what not to do - and Trump is an amazing person."
Though Bret has admiration for the Donald, he admits that it's not the easiest thing for a musician to enter the 9 to 5 workplace atmosphere of Celebrity Apprentice. "I'm always on the verge of [being] fired or getting my comeuppance," he says about the competition. "Trump has his time, which is normal business hours, and then there are my hours, which are rocker hours - they are two different time zones ... Let's just say, tune in early if you want to see me!"
Outside the boardroom and rock studio, Bret is the father of two girls, Raine, 9, and Jorja, 4, but he says that he's rarely the boss. "I'm a pushover," laughs the 47-year-old rocker. "I'm a sucker and those girls milk me - a little tear and I'm like, all right I give, here you go! I try to be tough, but the minute a tear comes ... and it's funny because it dries right back up once they get the toys; they work me good!"
