Sherri Shepherd
Bill O'Reilly sat down with Rachael to share his thoughts on his infamous appearance on The View, now co-host Sherri Shepherd gives her take on the incident. "He said he wanted Joy to stop yappin’ - that’s why he said what he did," she jokes. "But I think Bill knows that when he comes [on The View] what he’s gonna stir up in Joy - he knows exactly what he does. I think it was the statement about the Muslims and him not specifying what he meant that just kind of threw it over."
Sherri explains that Bill's comments really got under Whoopi's skin. "He did a dig at Whoopi when he first came out there, you know," she recalls. "It's like, Whoopi is great: You don’t mess with her, she won’t mess with you. But if you start messin’ with Karen Johnson? [Whoopi's real name]. See, people think, 'I saw Ghost and I saw Jumpin’ Jack Flash and that’s Whoopi.' Uh-uh. When Karen Johnson comes out, oh, you’d better watch it!"
Rachael wants to know if there's anything that would make Sherri walk off the set. "Girl, I’m a single mother with a 5-year-old child," she replies. "I am glued to that sofa! Nothing will send me off. I am in charge to provide for my son and if I walked off the couch and didn’t have a job I gotta look that five year old in the eye!"
Plus, Sherri tackles our tough topics in a round of Celebrity Soundoff, including the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell, and shares how she handles wardrobe malfunctions on the set of The Newlywed Game!
