At first glance, the video of the Shorewood High students singing Hall & Oates' "You Make My Dreams" seems like your average homemade music video. But when you look closer, all of the action in the background is happening in reverse! As part of a rivalry with another school to produce the slickest "lib dub," the video production class of Shorewood High School in Shoreline, WA spent two and a half weeks preparing their one-shot video, which included choreographing the song and the painstaking process of learning how to lip-sync backwards. Their efforts resulted in an incredible video that has been seen over 600,000 times on YouTube.

"It's amazing, the reaction we got," says 18-year-old student Javier. "We never even thought that it would get this big." Their teacher, Marty Ballew, spent hours and hours guiding the students through every step of the production, but he knows where to give credit. "It really speaks volumes to the hard work that my students put into this project," he says, "and I couldn't be prouder."
