Steve Carell tells Rachael that he's still in awe that he got to work with Academy Award-winner Juliette Binoche in his latest film, Dan in Real Life. "Everybody has been waiting for the Juliette Binoche-Steve Carell movie ... for years!" he jokes. Steve explains how the director of movie broke the ice between the cast members before filming -- with karaoke.

Steve says that having a teenage daughter in the movie was a sign of what's to come in his own life. "It's all puppy dogs and ice cream now," Steve says of his six-year-old daughter, "but by the time she's 15, it's going to get insane. The other day my wife was in the car with her and said something like, 'Yeah, that would be really cool,' and then she heard my six-year-old muttering to herself in the backseat, 'Yeah, cool is not a word that a 41-year-old should be using!' She's just got this attitude, and it's hard to discipline that because it's just so funny!"

A Golden Globe winner for his role as Michael Scott on the hit show The Office, Steve explains that he doesn't base his character on any of his old bosses. "I had some pretty good bosses," he says, "but I had some least favorite teachers over the years, which is more I think of what that's a model of as opposed to a boss. You know, people who thought they were funny, but weren't. People who thought they were cool, but weren't. That's the saddest thing to me, a teacher who's trying to be as cool as the kids and clearly is not. Like saying you're cool and having your 6-year-old daughter say you're not!"
