Tradeoff, Part II

Tradeoff, Part II
Aired on: November 28, 2006

Rachael challenges two women with very different problems to help each other in two days with only $2,000 in their pockets. In case you missed it, see what happened in Part I.

On the first day, Veronica is in Karen's house, trying to renovate and organize her tiny space while Karen is desperate to make Veronica's dream wedding a reality. Are they making any progress?

DAY ONE:

One day (half-way) through the tradeoff and things are looking iffy. At the end of day one, Karen has exhausted most of her resources. Although she's managed to get a few wedding dresses for Veronica to choose from, tuxes for the groom and groomsmen and color-coordinated the bridesmaids' dresses, this wedding still has no location or caterer.

Karen is feeling the pressure

Veronica manages to barter her services as a painter to local vendors in exchange for the installation of hardwood floors and some unstained furniture, but it remains to be seen if the house can be renovated and the stuff organized and put away.

Can Veronica get everything done?

DAY TWO:

It's day two and Karen finally finds a location for the wedding and a caterer. But as anyone who's planned a wedding knows, that's just half of it.

Does Karen get all of the pieces of this wedding in place?

Veronica finishes redoing the house right down the wire but she's still concerned she failed the original test for the tradeoff: To get Karen organized.

Veronica thinks she's failed to organize Karen.

Will Karen be relieved of the clutter in her house? Will Veronica and Brian finally tie the knot? Check out Part III, the "Tradeoff Payoff!"
