They say "necessity is the mother of invention." These clever Rachael Ray viewers proved that by creating products to make their lives -- and yours -- easier!
The Stand Ready Inverted Bottle Holder
Everyone's done it -- you try to get the most out of your ketchup bottle or shampoo container, so you turn the bottle upside-down. But how do you keep it from falling over? One of Rach's viewers figured out a solution -- the Stand Ready Inverted Bottle Holder. This device holds bottles in place securely, and 2-liter bottles of soda will even hold their "fizz" longer when stored upside-down.
Bootie Pies
When sisters Pamela, Deanna and Erica went to get pedicures in winter, they realized they would have to wait a while until their toenails dried before slipping on their boots. That frustration led to the birth of Bootie Pies, "luxury pedicure boots that will solve all of your winter pedicure woes." Watch the video above for a demonstration!
Snore-Ezzz Pillow
Too many sleepless nights lying awake listening to her husband snoring prompted Christine to invent a new kind of pillow -- Snore-Ezzz. "It positions your head so the muscles in your throat don't vibrate," Christine explains. "It's FDA approved to sell as a snore-reduction pillow." Got a four-legged family member that snores? Try Dog-Ezzz!
Ken Daw - Dog Food Artist
Paints and oils weren't good enough for Ken Daw, so he devised a new method of painting -- he uses dog food! Some might think he's barking up the wrong tree, but his art also serves a purpose. "After the 2004 hurricane season," Ken says, "the state of Florida lost 12 shelters. I've always loved a creative challenge, so I started delivering my dog food art to shelters for their fundraisers." Ken's work has raised over $12,000.
