Winterize Your Skin

Don't let chapped lips and dry skin ruin your winter fun! Beauty expert Jenn Falik shares her favorite products for staying hydrated and smooth all season long!

Face

Cetaphil Gentle Daily Cleanser: ($11 in drug stores) "If your skin is feeling dry, think about what you're using to cleanse it," Jenn says. "This is a great product just for washing your face," Jenn says. "It leaves your skin moist."

Air Repair Quenching Facial Mist: ($12 www.airrepairskincare.com) "If you have a moisturizer that you love, don't necessarily switch it out for the winter but instead find something that enhances it," she says, suggesting Air Repair, which was created for use on airplanes but is also an everyday option. "This is a moisturizing mist, so you can put it on under makeup, over makeup. It's a gel formula, it binds to your skin and it's just so hydrating," Jenn says. "As your skin feels tight during the day just give yourself a spritz!"

Pond's Micro Dermabrasion Wet Cleansing Towelettes: ($6.49 www.drugstore.com) "People think you don't want to exfoliate in the winter because it's going to irritate your skin, your skin's already feeling dry, you don't want to do anything to exacerbate that. Not true! You've got to get the dead off to let the good healthy skin come through. So with cleansing, you don't need a hard core scrub, but you need something that you can make as gentle or as harsh as you want," Jenn explains. She recommends the Pond's product because the towelettes are textured to make it easy for you to scrub at your own pace.

Priori Barrier Repair Complex: ($60 www.prioriskincare.com) "A lot of moisturizers actually help you exfoliate," she says. "This is from Priori, it's all high-tech, cutting-edge technology skin care ... It helps your skin keep its moisture, but it also has a lactic acid compound in it so it also helps to push out the dead skin and reveal new skin! So you can moisturize and exfoliate at the same time - that's true double-duty beauty!"

Lips

LypSyl Lip Balm: ($2.99 www.drugstore.com) "It's a new lip balm. It's actually from Sweden, it's the number one seller there and I love it!" Jenn says. "It's great for hydrating your lips every day."

Koh Gen Do Lip Treatment Gloss in Blush Pink: ($21 www.kohgendocosmetics.com) "Inevitably you're going to get chapped lips, it just happens, you know they get that weird red color and you get self conscious?" Jenn asks, while pointing to a pink lip gloss tube. "This is from Japan, it's a new import, and that color pink actually is going to neutralize the redness so your lips look healthy while they get healthy!"

Jenn suggests combining the LypSyl Lip Balm and the Koh Gen Do Lip Treatment to hydrate and keep your lips looking great!

Hands

Winks & Company: ($12 www.winksandco.com) "My big tip with hand and foot care is you need something that you like. Repetition is key, you need to use the product ever day. So this smells great, it's a rich formula, but it's still kind of nice and whipped and the fragrance is so good you just want to use it all the time!"

Feet

Philosophy Soul Owner Exfoliating Foot Cream: ($14 www.philosophy.com) "When you're looking for a good foot cream don't just get something that hydrates, get something that exfoliates," Jenn says. "You need to get rid of that dead skin!" She suggests this product from Philosophy for an overnight fix. "It has salicylic and glycolic acid in it so that's going to eat away at that dead skin and get rid of it, and then it's also moisturizing. The next morning you're going to wake up and your feet are going to be nice and soft!

Body

L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil: ($22 at www.loccitane.com) "Instead of a cleanser in the shower like a bubbly soap, use an oil," Jenn suggests. "It smells so good and it lathers up in the shower, so it almost feels like you have cleansing gel on because it does bubble up, so you don't feel like you're putting oil over your skin, and it hydrates your skin so when your out of the shower you don't necessarily need a moisturizer!"
