Writer Mary Giuiliani, whose new entertaining guide The Cocktail Party is available now, is stopping by to share three fun ways to make sure your holiday gathering is a raging success!
Tip 1: Create a Champagne Bar with Garnishes
To create an immediately festive ambience, and also to make it easier for your guests to serve themselves, set up a table with chilled champagne (or more affordable Prosecco) and also set out bowls of garnishes like fruit or even candy that your guests can drop into their bubbly.
Tip 2: Make Your Own Festive Sparkly Punch
Here’s a simple and super festive punch recipe. Mix a bottle of vodka, white cranberry juice, and lime juice in a punch bowl. Then add fun sparkly edible stars and stir! How fun!
Tip 3: Set Up a Pigs in a Blanket Station
Make basic pigs in a blanket, then pile them on a tray and set out bowls of condiments. Trust us, your guests are going to thank you for this tasty treat!
Tip 4: Make a Pudding Bar
For this brilliant idea, set up a pudding bar! Set out pudding and bowls of toppings like pretzels and potato chips! Delish!
