This Farmer Is Determined To Use Food To Help End Racism & Injustice

Soul Fire Farm manager & co-director Leah Penniman explains how the community training farm educates young people and delivers food to people in need.

"We deliver produce, vegetables, eggs to the doorsteps of the people who need it most in our community at whatever price they can afford," Leah says. "We also train thousands of new farmers of all ages each year. We teach everything from soil to seed to harvest to market. All of that is infused with historical and cultural lessons about how our ancestors related to the earth."

Rach got to share some good news with Leah — our friends at Garden of Eatin' are donating $5,000 to Soul Fire Farm to help continue their mission!
