So cool, right?!

(We're pretty sure Mom will love this one, too!)

All you need is an old tire, a three-quarter-inch sheet of plywood (large enough to cover said tire when cut into a circle), quarter-inch rope, a hot glue gun, and a screw gun.

As demonstrated by Carter, you just nail the wood into the tire, then grab your hot glue gun and rope, and start gluing the rope on in a circular pattern, starting at the center and working your way down all the way to the bottom.

Has a bit of a nautical effect, don't you think? And, as proven when Carter stood on top of it, it’s pretty durable, too! Perfect to kick your feet up on or as extra seating inside or out.

And the best part? "You can go to a high-end brand store and purchase that for an enormous amount, or you can make one [for under $30]!" says Carter.
