Since his CBS hit “The Good Wife” wrapped earlier this year, improv master Alan Cumming has been busy traveling the world to do his one-man show, “Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs”: “I go out and sing songs and tell stories, sort of a cabaret evening. It’s an intimate way to connect with an audience, as me being me rather than being a character.”

He also showed off his new photography book, You Gotta Get Bigger Dreams, which he describes as an autobiography through pictures: “I have photos of crazy Hollywood glamorous things, but also like a road trip with my dog. I wanted it to be the whole spectrum.”

Alan put his improv skills to good use, playing a game with us:

And of course, Rach didn’t let him leave without sharing another taste of what his cabaret audiences get -- she got him to sing for his supper before she cooked him a vegan Green Tortilla Soup. Watch below to hear Alan serenade Rach with an old Scottish tune.
