Miss Robbie from ‘Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s’ on What ‘Soul Food’ Means to Her Aired January 12, 2017

Robbie Montgomery, aka Miss Robbie, and her son Tim Norman, are the stars of OWN’s “Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s”, and have made their living serving up soul food. Now Rachael is asking them what “soul food” means to them.

Miss Robbie says, “I get in my kitchen and think about what I’m going to fix today, and then get in there and prepare it with love, and that’s soul food. From my soul.”

Tim has a slightly different take on the term, “If it tastes good to me, it’s soul food. Tacos are soul food, Chinese food is soul food, as long as it tastes good.”

For a taste of Miss Robbie and Tim’s made-with-love food, check out the Soul-Style Spaghetti with Meat Sauce recipe they made for Rach.
