"This Is Us" fans, who else is freaking out about seeing Jack Pearson (a.k.a. Milo Ventimiglia) as an old man in the season 2 finale preview?!

What does it all mean?!

Well, when Milo visited our show, he did confirm that despite what some people may be gleaning from the preview, Jack Pearson is indeed dead. 😭

And though that breaks our heart, we're just happy that Milo is still on the show in some capacity despite his character's tragic, tragic death.

(We'll take what we can get, right?)

Now, while Mandy Moore -- who plays Milo's wife Rebecca Pearson on the hit show -- is no stranger to the 3-hour cosmetic aging process ("She’s so patient with it," Milo says), it was a brand-new experience for Milo.

"It was crazy," the former "Gilmore Girls" star tells Rach, “to be older than my own father.”

(The 40-year-old actor had to be aged more than 30 years!)

"My mom and dad are just barely 70, and I still think of them as very young, very young-spirited," he continues, "but putting on the makeup and the hair and the little belly pad and the way the clothes were fitting and how I was standing and talking to my co-stars -- I couldn't get out of being that age in the time."
