This extremely nutritious AND delicious green smoothie came to use courtesy of Ann Romney. It features kale, spinach, lime, green apple, ginger, pineapple and passion fruit tea. Yum!

No. 3: Skirt Steak with Mean, Green Romesco

Rachael pairs a grilled skirt steak with a nutty green tomatillo romesco sauce. As a bonus, this meal is completely gluten-free.

No. 4: Valerie Bertinelli’s Green Beans with Shallots

Valerie blanches her green beans until they turn a vibrant green, then tosses them with a shallot and red wine vinegar dressing. Whether you serve it warm or cold, it will be equally delicious!

This pasta brings in several layers of green – via pistachios, mint, parsley and asparagus. It’s a simple and quick comfort food you can toss together for a St. Patrick’s Day dinner after a long day.

No. 9: Green Goddess Dressing and Roast Chicken

Parsley, chives, scallions and tarragon bring a beautiful emerald hue to this delicious dish. The chicken can be prepared and marinated the night before, then all you have to do is pop it in the oven at dinnertime.

Cooking the chicken on a wire rack set inside a baking sheet allows the heat to hit all sides.
