The holiday season is a busy time, so we all have to cut corners from time to time -- right?

If you have no spare time to whip up homemade pies this Thanksgiving, don’t worry, you can still impress!

When food guru Daphne Oz stopped by, she showed us how to make store-bought pumpkin pies fancy with decadent toppings -- and in no time at all!

(Shh, no one has to know!)

SALTED CHOCOLATE PUMPKIN PIE

Place 1 cup dark chocolate chips and 1/2 cup heavy cream into a medium glass bowl. Microwave for 2 minutes, stirring with a spoon every 30 seconds. After 2 minutes, remove from microwave and whisk until smooth. Pour the ganache over pie. Spread to smooth and sprinkle with 2 teaspoons coarse sea salt; Let cool at room temperature until set, about an hour.

PECAN PRALINE PUMPKIN PIE

In a medium saucepot, melt 2/3 cup brown sugar, 3 tablespoons sugar, 3 tablespoons heavy cream, 2 tablespoons butter and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat. Remove from the heat, add 1 1/2 cup pecans (chopped) and then pour over pie; Let cool.

BRULEED PUMPKIN PIE

Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar in a very thin, even layer over top of the pumpkin pie. Using a hand torch, melt the sugar, being careful not to burn it. Once the sugar has melted, top with 1/4 cup roasted, salted pepitas; Let cool for a few minutes and then serve immediately.
