Bob Harper's Slow-Cooker Tomato Sauce

Serves 2 quarts

10 to 12 plum tomatoes, sliced in half
1 cup low-sodium chicken stock
Salt and pepper, to taste


In a slow cooker, add the tomatoes, chicken stock, salt and pepper. Set on high for 6 hours or low for 8 hours with the lid ajar.

Using an immersion blender, blend the contents of the slow cooker.

Freezes great!
