Lots of people turn to “Dr. Google” for medical advice – but the results aren’t always very helpful. Dr. Oz is here to answer the top three most-Googled medical questions once and for all.

No. 1: How Do I Get Rid of Hiccups?

Dr. Oz explains what causes hiccups -- a “misfire” in your diaphragm. He says all home remedies basically work by elevating the carbon dioxide in your blood. Two tricks that he recommends are breathing into a paper bag, or drinking water upside down.

A lot of things can influence a blood pressure reading, like what you’ve had to eat and drink and whether you have an empty stomach or bladder, says Dr. Oz. “Your blood pressure is supposed to be under 140 over 90, optimally closer to 120 over 80,” he explains.

No. 3: Is Bronchitis Contagious?

Not really, according to Dr. Oz. “There is some bacteria that can cause it but usually it’s viruses so you’re probably not going to get it from the person next to you.”
