Twelve-year-old Jaheir Moore from Jersey City, New Jersey loves fashion design and crocheting. He spends so much time crocheting that he ended up creating piles of scarves, headbands and blankets -- more than he needed. So he decided to give back!

While many kids his age spend their time playing video games, Jaheir turned his hobby into a service project, donating his hand-made goodies to homeless shelters and hospitals (to wrap around cuddly newborns).

Jo-Ann Stores heard about what Jaheir was up to and decided to help him pursue his fashion and philanthropy dreams by surprising him with a $5,000 gift card!
