After losing his wife of 66 years, Keith Davisson began feeling lonely -- so at 94 years old, he decided to build a backyard addition for all the neighborhood families to enjoy. You guessed it -- a pool!

Because he never had any grandkids, Keith was simply looking for some company.

“In a way, you kind of adopted a whole neighborhood of kids,” says one neighbor. “These are your grandkids.”

“I’m not sitting by myself looking at the walls,” Keith says sweetly.

When we heard his story, we decided that he deserved a little fun in the sun of his own. So Rach surprised him via Skype with a 5-night trip to the Dominican Republic with a friend, courtesy of CheapCaribbean.com.

And surprised he was!

“Wow. I can’t believe that,” Keith says.

Enjoy your trip, Keith!
