Well, when it comes to dirty baking sheets (or pots and pans) with stubborn, caked-on grime, kitchen expert Pamela Salzman has a simple solution.

Simply make a ball out of aluminum foil to scrape off the mess. In fact, Rach says that's even gentler than the rough side of a sponge!
You can even use this same trick on your dirty grill. (Rach says she and John do it!)

Just remember to use tongs with your foil if you're dealing with a surface — whether it's a baking sheet or the grill — that's still hot!
