Your Favorite Christmas Candy Could Reveal Where You're From

Sugar intake doesn’t count this time of year ... right?

That’s what we’d all like to believe, at least!

After all, the National Retail Federation estimates that the average consumer will spend $110 on candy and food this holiday season -- which is twice as much as they’ll spend on decorations and about four times as much as they’re dishing out for greeting cards and postage.

(We’re not surprised, are you?)

And just because Christmas Day comes and goes, it doesn’t mean that the sweet, sweet fun is over -- because December 26 is National Candy Cane Day!

And while candy canes are the most popular candy in some states around the U.S., that’s not the case in all states.
