Tech guru Katie Linendoll introduced us to wearable technology called My UV Patch, which claims to function kind of like a personal skincare buddy!

Katie says that you just stick the patch on the top of your hand (the way she does in the video above) and download the accompanying app to set up a personal profile.
"[When you use the app to scan your patch], it detects all the UV rays that you receive in a day and how much you're supposed to be applying when it comes to sunscreen," she explains.
