When it comes to putting makeup on, we totally understand why women of all ages might get a little intimidated by the idea. With so many products and different tools out there, it’s hard to know where to start!
Vanessa Hudgens recently partnered with EcoTools for their My True Beauty Campaign (#MyTrueBeauty) which will help inspire women to be their best, confident selves.
“It’s actually a mobile bus that’s going around the country for eight weeks that has all of their brushes -- their whole thing is basically taking the intimidation out of makeup application,” says Vanessa. “They’ll do makeup tutorials, help you out with a new makeup regime -- just kind of take the fear out of makeup because it can be quite intimidating.”

Being in front of the camera most of her life, Vanessa knows a thing or two about beauty and has learned A LOT over the years. Take a look at this shot of her from her very first movie premiere.

“I was only 15 in this picture and I think it’s really important to do your makeup according to your age,” says Vanessa. “Super light, super natural.”
In the next picture, she’s about 18 and says she started to find the “Bohemian” self in her.

“Still very natural, I’m not big into making yourself look 10 years older than you actually are.”
Here she is now at 28! This picture was from the 2017 Oscar party.
“All about the super bold cat-eye,” says Vanessa.
And finally, here she is at Coachella 2017.
“I am a festival junkie!” says Vanessa. “It’s a fun time to break out all the glitter you’ve got in your drawer and just throw it on your face!”
Speaking of glitter -- did you see her super sparkly Coachella manicure?! Check it out here and watch the video above to hear all about her embarrassing moment with Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood!

“When you look good, you feel good, and there is nothing more powerful than a strong, sexy, confident woman,” says Vanessa.
