How to DIY a Beach Cover-Up Out of a Scarf In Less Than 30 Seconds

by

If you have a lightweight scarf, you basically already have a sarong!

Just hear us out …

Or rather, hear our viewer named Sarah out!

"I'm a school teacher on a budget," she tells us. "So today, my lesson for you is how to make a DIY sarong out of any scarf."

And here's how!

1. Hold your scarf out in front of you
2. Connect two corners, so you create a square scarf with an open end and a closed end
3. Make a really small -- but really tight -- knot with your two ends
4. Shake out your sarong to find your two arm holes

And voila!

Watch Sarah walk you through it in the video above.
