If your kids aren’t into pumpkin pie, or if you just want to up the fun factor on your Thanksgiving dessert table, you have to make these three adorable holiday treats, brought to us by The View co-host and mom Candace Cameron Bure.
Rice Krispie Pumpkins
Candace Cameron Bure's Kid-Friendly Rice Krispie Pumpkins
This treat is so cute and festive for the kid table at Thanksgiving. Just mix up some melted marshmallows, butter and Rice Krispies like you were making Rice Krispie Treats, but add food coloring to make it orange, and shape it into pumpkin balls once it’s cool enough to handle. Add a green candy for a stem and you’re done! How adorable!
Candy Turkey Centerpiece
This Candy Turkey Centerpiece is Perfect for the Thanksgiving Kids' Table
This is so cute and is not as hard as it looks! Just dip thick pretzel sticks in chocolate and add orange and yellow sprinkles. Then arrange them festively by filling a candy bowl with chocolate covered raisins, and then arranging the pretzel sticks to look like turkey feathers. Finally, glue construction paper turkey nose, eyes and feet onto the bowl.
Acorn Treats
Your Kids Will Love These Adorable Acorn Candy Treats
These little “acorns” would be so fun to make AND eat with kids. Just use chocolate frost to “glue” a vanilla wafer cookie to a Hershey’s kiss, then add a mini chocolate chip on the other side for the “stem.” How adorable is that?
