- 2 plums, pitted and thinly sliced
- 2 cups cherries, pitted
- 6 to 8 basil leaves
- 1/4 cup Kirschwasser or any cherry brandy
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 bottle red wine, such as Petite Syrah or Nero d'Avola
In a large pitcher, muddle plums, cherries and basil with the Kirschwasser to release some of their juices. Add in oranges and wine. Stir to combine.
Serve in glasses over ice.
