You only need 3 ingredients plus a few pantry staples to make these delicious homemade garlic croutons.
- ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil (EVOO)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 4 cups white bread, cubed
- Black pepper
- Pecorino cheese
Preheat oven to 250 °F.
In a small saucepot over medium-high heat, add EVOO, butter and garlic. When it foams, toss the cubed bread with the butter mixture. Season with black pepper and Pecorino cheese. Scatter bread cubes on a baking sheet and bake until deep golden.
