Maple Country Turkey Sausage Patties

2 pounds ground turkey
4 tablespoons maple syrup
2 tablespoons grill seasoning
2 tablespoons EVOO - Extra Virgin Olive Oil, plus additional for drizzling

Preheat oven to 450F.

In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, maple syrup and grill seasoning. Work the meat to combine all the ingredients then form patties 2- to 3-inches round.

Place a large skillet over medium high heat with EVOO. Brown patties in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side. Place the patties on a baking sheet, drizzle them lightly with oil, and finish baking them in the oven until they are golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165F, about 5-6 minutes.
