Bobby Flays Blackberry-Bourbon Juleps

Serves 4 servings
1 cup fresh blackberries, rinsed and dried
1/2 cup superfine sugar
1 big bunch mint leaves (about 24 leaves)
1 cup bourbon plus additional, divided
Crushed ice

Divide the berries, sugar and mint between 4 glasses. Muddle the ingredients together until well pulverized.

Pour just shy of 1/4 cup of bourbon into each glass and then fill each with crushed ice. Top each glass off with another small pour of bourbon.

Garnish with mint sprigs and serve.
