Steak au Poivre with Simple Vinaigrette

Serves 2 servings
1 1-pound hanger steak
Salt and ground black pepper (a lot of pepper)
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons EVOO - Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

Season the hanger steak with salt and a lot of ground black pepper. Cook the steak about 5 minutes per side, until cooked to medium-rare, or however you like your steak.

Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes.

Slice steak against the grain and drizzle with a little red wine vinegar and EVOO. Serve with some spiced oven fries or your favorite side.
