7 Hearty Dishes That Will Warm You Up

It's that time of year where all we want to do is stay indoors. With the artic weather fast approaching, we have 9 recipes that will keep you and your family cozy on a cold winter's night. 

1.) Roasted Vegetables and Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese and Caramelized Onion Croutons

We’re taking the classic tomato soup and adding flavorful, roasted carrots, parsnips, butternut squash and celery. We top with grilled cheese and caramelized onion bites.

2.) Mac & Cheese with Leeks and Ham

This Macaroni and Cheese with Leeks and Ham makes for one hearty meal. We take creamy Gruyere and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheeses and add fresh thyme and garlic for a cheesy mixture. Toss in macaroni, leeks, cooked ham and seasonings for a delicious winter dish.

3.) Chicken Chili with White Beans

We love chili anytime of the year, but especially during the winter. This recipe takes us to a warmer location-- South of the Border. We use diced green chiles, onions, ground cumin, chili powder, chicken and white beans to warm us up. It’s an even better when you pack it for lunch the next day.

4.) Beef One-Pot with Vegetables

Warm, cozy and hearty. Three words that perfectly describe this stew. Beef Chuck Roast is tossed with slice garlic, oil, rosemary and heated in a dutch oven. We add wine, beef stock, butternut squash, onion, sage, tomatoes corn, zucchini and green beans to the pot. Serve with a slice of thick-cut bread.

5.) Roasted Vegetables Stew One-Pot

If you’re looking for a meatless meal for winter, try this Roasted Vegetable Stew One-Pot. We use cloves of garlic, zucchini, tomatoes, artichoke hearts and cremini mushrooms in this stew. Finish with Parmigiano-Reggiano on top. Delish!
